How Long Does The Usda Loan Process Usually Take?
I submitted my application in the beginning of September to the USDA for the direct loan program. I called about 2 weeks ago and was told that my application would likely be pulled in about 30 days (2 weeks now). I called again yesterday and was told that it could be 3-6 months before it is pulled. How long does this usually take? Has anyone gone through this process? In Virginia? I know they run out of funds but their new “budget year” just started over on October 1st. I am just tired of waiting! I know the preliminary numbers I was quoted based off of my unverified income and stuff but I don’t know the official number I could be approved for. When do I get a real estate agent? I have found a few homes I like but they have since been sold. I am just so anxious to get the process started. I would love to hear from people with personal experience. Thanks!
