Exciting news for your Utah Mortgage is here!  The Home Run 2 Grant has finally arrived and is better than ever. Even though theHome Run 2 Grant amount has dropped to $4,000 it is even easier to qualify. This time there are only 1,950 grants available. Some of the restrictions of the original grant have been removed, so this money will be gone even more quickly than the original Home Run Grant.

This Utah grant is really simple to qualify for:

  • Must Purchase a newly constructed home, finish a partially constructed home or have a home built for you.
  • Cannot make over $75,000 for singles and $150,000 for married couples.
  • You do not need to be a first time homebuyer.
  • The money will  be wired to your title company sometime before the funding of your loan.
  • Depending on your loan you will be able to use this grant for your down payment and/or closing costs.
  • There are only 1,950 grants available and they will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
  • The Home Run 2 Grant can be combined with the $8,000 Federal Grant that is also available now.
  • Must be approved for a fixed rate mortgage loan before applying.
  • November 30th 2009 is the last day to submit a commitment request, unless the funds run out before then.
  • You must qualify through an approved lender.

I believe the Home Run 2 Grant will run out of money very quickly. If you haven’t applied for a mortgage or this grant money, don’t delay. I can walk you through the process so you can have an additional $4,000 towards the purchase of your new home.
