2009 Idaho VA County Loan Limits for Maximum Guaranty Amount

2009 Idaho VA County Loan Limits. The Department of Veteran Affairs’ Loan Guaranty program does not impose a maximum amount that an eligible veteran may borrow using a VA-guaranteed loan. However, the following county limits must be used to calculate VA’s maximum guaranty amount for a particular county.

The maximum guaranty amount available for loans over $144,000 is 25 percent of the 2009 VA Limit shown below. So a veteran with full entitlement available may borrow up to the 2009 VA Limit shown below and VA will guarantee 25 percent of the loan amount.

Single Family

$417,000

The counties that fall into the above VA Loan Limit are as follows: Ada, Adams, Bannock, Bear Lake, Benewah, Bingham, Boise, Bonner, Bonneville, Boundary, Butte, Camas, Canyon, Caribou, Cassia, Clark, Clearwater, Custer, Elmore, Franklin, Fremont, Gem, Gooding, Idaho, Jefferson, Jerome, Kootenai Latah, Lemhi, Lewis, Lincoln, Madison, Minidoka, Nez Perce, Oneida, Owyhee, Payette, Power, Shoshone, Twin Falls, Valley, Washington.

Single Family Blaine County – 2009 VA Limit is $497,500

Single Family Teton County – 2009 VA Limit is $1,000,000
